Major Duties and Responsibilities

The Technical Sales Manager is primarily responsible for:

1. To execute the business unit strategy (s) within a respective territory (Texas), driving profitable growth       

2. Responsible for the execution of pricing and other initiatives within the territory

3. Improves the product competitive position within the targeted channels; identifies and implements new opportunities with customer accounts

4. Provides input and consultation to the business unit leadership on market intelligence (competitive promotions, market share, pricing, etc.)

5. Provides input to the development of the national and territory marketing strategies

6. Regularly communicates sales opportunities to the Sales Manager and works to develop the product  portfolio for customers

7. Meets with key clients, maintains relationships, and negotiates deals across a territory

8. Maintains opportunity pipeline and tracks contacts, activities in a CRM or appropriate database

9. Maintain a commitment to the company’s values, business processes, and code of ethics
